Morning/afternoon Snugs.
Here’s the link to the Swiss story. The plan has the usual detractors of course, but the kicker was, “The party claims foreigners - who make up about 20 percent of the population - are four times more likely to commit crimes than Swiss nationals.”

I’m sure it won’t fly. Too many “let’s all just get along, sit around in circles, and sing kumbaya types” over there.
Just mho of course.

The one thing that surprised me was the comment that they had long campaigned to ensure that once convicted of a crime they are deported.

To think that you could go straight for deportation of the whole family without the first stage on the statute books looks like a proposal to appeal to a certain faction of the population knowing full well it can never pass.

In Britain providing the 2 government departments talk to each other and pass names over (home office now justice department and immigration) foreign workers who serve a jail service are deported at the the end of their jail time.
