Good morning / after noon snugs. You are probably correct. All we will hear this morning is Larry Craig all the time. I’d bet if he had a (D) behind his name, there would not be a mention of this incident and he would be reelected next term.

Of course the rhetoric that the Republicans run on the party of morals does not hold water, it should not matter what party you are if you have committed a moral indiscretion that brings your judgment into question then you are not fit to hold public office IMHO.

A quiet non scandalous divorce whilst I am not happy with I can accept happens in 2007 but some of the things that some politicians get up to IMHO certainly brings their judgment which you need to hold public office into question. Even if they are democrats who do not push a family values or moral values platform they should go as they are showing tendencies that would indicate under pressure they might make decisions that are not rationally thought out.
