No TP?
Just a normal day in basic training...
“More TP, Drillsergeant! More TP!”
I'm still stuck in the %$$#! Green Zone. There was a bit of a glitch.
This sucks.
But not as much as Katie's article sucks. ;-)
Be sure to show her the soles so she can appreciate the fact they have no holes in them.
Hey, and I can show her the nice stitching around the toes. And then we can do each other's hair and be best friends forever and stuff!
Actually, I'm near the Embassy where all the snotbags always hang out. If I should run into the b!tch, I think I will go on about my new socks.
It can be a private little FReeper joke where everyone is in on it except for Katie.
If only we'd had THOSE way back when!!
I had a kid who came back to visit on leave after basic: I'm so entirely glad to see that they now only have to BUFF their suede boots, have permanent press fatigues and actually get to VELCRO on their insignia, etc.!!!!
It makes me wonder what they did with all of their "spare time" in basic!!! (Probably took sensitivity classes.) :-(
Give 'er hell.
poor Katie, bless her heart......../ sac
I was fortunate in that my Mom insisted my brothers and I learned how to sew by hand when we were young. I was amazed in boot camp at the number of guys I had to teach how to sew on their stripes after they found out I could stitch them on.
She gets every DNC cliche in the first paragraph. The people in the Green Zone/military don’t know whats going on like PravdABDNC in their hotel.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Maybe Katie will invite you over to her Upper East Side Condo when you both get back Stateside??
Pray for W and Our Troops
We used Kiwi, diapers and Ice or very cold water. Spit was for the field. ;-)
There were even some she’s who didn’t know how to sew, but fewer, I’m sure!!!!! I went in in 1973—when girls still learned a few domestic things from their mothers.
It’s...it’s just SOOOOO overwhelming to be here!
;-)
And to think, all those knee pads she wore out and it did’nt help her that much.
Right on, you nailed that!
I heard that. Liberal media people are such tender-asses that it’s a crisis if they don’t get whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles on their $8 mocha lattes.
Better.
Yup, God forbid that a person should have to sew a button or patch on a uniform. And those boots are so uncomfortable, now they get to cruise boot camp in tennis shoes. I’ve heard that in boot camp now they can drop a card and take a stress break so that they don’t get their fragile little psyches damaged.
Living condition of people who make $20 million a year are hugely luxurious compared to what most Americans experience, you ignorant twit.
The Perky One on Face the Nation this morning - “And so, you do see signs of life that seem to be normal. Of course, thats what the U.S. military wants me to see, so you have to keep that in mind as well.”
