Mark hit the nail on the head. How quick the right is to dance for the amusement of the left.
bump
I'd say Craig got stung pretty good. The family, the job, the national news.....
Craig is guilty by his own admission. I don't get Levin on this one.
The guy was caught illegally soliciting sex in the bathroom. No two ways about it. He pleaded guilty to it as far as I am concerned.
Cops arrest ordinary people that way everyday. Why should senators be exempt.
If senators don’t like all these laws, they shouldn’t be passing them or letting the judicial branch get unequal power.
Huh. A rare miss for the Great One.
It’s not like Mark to downplay piles and piles of circumstantial evidence like this.
Great column and Mark Levin nailed it with those few words. Those modern liberals are also hypocrites and no one will call them on it.
Pinging some of the Levin Lounge regulars to a column by TGO...
Having arrived at that terminal, presumably with a full bladder and/or lower intestine, why would he stand there waiting 13 minutes for a particular stall in that bathroom?
Mr. Levin, do you consider it normal behavior for a man in a public toilet stall to keep placing his foot and hand under the divider into an adjacent occupied stall?
Do you consider it normal and expected behavior for that man to slide his foot so deeply into the adjacent stall that it actually contacts the foot of the person sitting in that neighboring stall?
Mr. Levin, how is it possible for a sitting man to have his pant waist at mid-thigh and abduct his leg that far without tearing his pants?
Why would a powerful and well-to-do man who is arrested for something he didn't do waive his right to legal counsel, confess, pay a fine and submit to conditions of probation?
And why would such a man not tell his wife about all this injustice to which he was subjected?
Mr. Levin, would you trust a man who admitted guilt before a judge but subsequently denied his guilt on camera?
And Mr. Levin, are you aware that when the 1982 page boy sex scandal broke, Senator Craig was the only legislator in Congress who publicly insisted "it wasn't me" -- before anybody had even suggested that it was?
And lastly, Mr. Levin, wouldn't you agree that there is no rational explanation for all this strange behavior on Mr. Craig's part, other than his intent to initiate sexual activity in that bathroom?
The bottom line is that he’s gone. All of this talk about the decades of rumors and witnesses being wrong makes us look like Democrats.
The culture of corruption is the Democrat Party. If the Democrat Party is not investigated as an ongoing criminal enterprise under the RICO Statute, the law should be repealed. The Democrat Party has done more harm to this Nation and the World than all criminal activity added together.
I’m betting that Craig is wishing he were a demonRat about now...
Thank you, Mark Levin, for an intelligent, reasoned article on the situation.
This is going to come back and bite the GOP in the butt--running a Senator out of town for allegedly playing footsie with a toilet cop. No words exchanged...no physical contact...no real facts. This is absurd. If Anything, Craig should be punsihed for not calling a lawyer as soon as he was arrested.
Notice the lack of outcry from the Dems? They had no leg to stand on. We didn't have any charges of hypocrisy to fight. Just our own impulsive gutlessness. Eventually the Craig affair is going to be evidence of our homophobia...maybe Lindsey Graham will lead the charge and call us "bigots" again. There's a lot of rumors about HIS sexual preferences, you know. And he's got a war chest of $4M and no credible opposition in the primaries.
I don't buy that the defeats we suffered in 06 were due to a "culture of corruption"--I think some of them were deliberately and mendaciously engineered by Rove to give Bush a "congress he could work with" and shove amnesty down the throats of an unwilling American citizenry.

I cannot believe Mark Levin is so naive! "These partners" are, like Craig, "respectable members of the community" who do not want their activities known. They are businessmen who by all appearances are good family men, but who enjoy anonymous sex with men in places like airport men's rooms while they are traveling on business. They have as much to lose as Craig did from coming forward.
Levin is also overlooking the Idaho Statesman's interview with a Republican staffer who says he had sex with Craig in a Union station men's room a few years ago.
Regardless, the issue is not Craig's sexual orientation. The issue how he went about fulfilling it: illegally trolling for sex in public men's rooms.
This incident is getting more play than the JFK assassination. I’m waiting Oliver Stone to make the movie.
Amen.
Thanks for posting. Great rant, Mark. Thanks for being here.
WOOOOHOOOO!
