And that is why I have backed away from supporting Romney.
I still would like to know where Thompson stands on renewal of AWB-2 , as Thompson wasn’t in the Senate when it was passed.
I hope to find out soon, as he seems like a great candidate and that would seal the deal for me .

The difference is that Fred Thompson hasn’t dreamed of the White House since he was a teenager. He didn’t want to run, we DRAFTED him and convinced him to run. Why would he “say anything” when he had to be drafted to run in the first place?!
