Clinton Judicial Appointee Blocks Enforcement of Law
Blogs for Bush ^ | September 1, 2007 | Mark Noonan

Eventually it will become completely clear that each and every judge appointed by a Democrat will just have to be given the boot - it is all too often that it is precisely these liberal judges who throw up roadblocks to, well, common sense:

A federal judge has put a halt on a planned White House crackdown on employers who hire illegal immigrants while she considers a lawsuit filed by the AFL-CIO claiming the move would harm citizens and those working in the U.S. legally, the Washington Post reported on Saturday.

The ruling, issued by U.S. District Judge Maxine M. Chesney, bars the Department of Homeland Security from sending mail notices to 140,000 employers about suspect Social Security numbers.

The AFL-CIO and the American Civil Liberties Union say that DHS is going beyond its mandate to enforce immigration laws and is misusing the Social Security Administration’s database, according to the report.

"We're disappointed by the delay and expect to prevail once the court has the benefit of full briefing and argument," DHS spokeswoman Laura Keehner said.

Judge Chesney, a San Francisco liberal, was appointed to the federal bench by President Clinton in 1995 - any such appointment is just asking for an eventual judicial over-reach and, also, some legislating from the bench. Its just a natural - and you just know that the AFL/CIO and the ACLU brought this case before judge Chesney because they knew - as a liberal judge - that it was almost a certainty she would agree with them. That, unfortunately, is what we have in America today - a dual-track judicial system. One part of it - almost all of it appointed by Republicans - enforces the law; the other part of it - almost all of it appointed by Democrats - is a self-appointed super-legislature which ensures that liberalism is inserted into everything, even if liberalism came out second in the votes.

To review - it is against the law to have an illegal social security number; it is against the law to be employed if you are not legally in the United States; it is against the law to enter the United States illegally...and this judge has blocked a reasonable attempt at enforcing the law at the behest of two liberal groups. The AFL/CIO has the dirty secret that they hope to replace their collapsing number of union members with a flood of illegals-turned-union-members, while the ACLU is dedicated to undermining American law in the service of its long-held leftist agenda. The judge agreed with them - and so this little judge in San Francisco has decided that the considered wisdom of everyone else in government will have to wait until she decides if its right to enforce the laws.

Impeach this judge.

The written law and our beloved Constitution, are but obstacles to the leftist/socialist criminal agenda in America.

You know what else is great? Minding your own business and not nitpicking over one mispelled word that is spelled close enough that 99.9 percent of those who read it will know what the he** Kaslin meant. I mean really, is that all you have to do, finding fault with people? Get a life.

Ah, the spelling Nazis are at it again. Life would be so great without these beasts of correction roaming about.

Yeah, it really doesn’t matter if FR appears full of illiterates-—we know what we mean.

Considering the vast majority of comments posted here, with few, if any, grammatical or spelling errors … I don’t see your point. If you must correct someone, do it via FRmail.

Impeach this judge.

Ping me when Congress has the guts to do its job.

I forget - - how many of these hundreds of scumbag, activist liberal Democrat judges were impeached during the 12-year reign of the Republican Congress? Oh yeah - - none.

This shows what is really at stake- will the Federal Courts be filled with judges who take the Constitution seriously, or by liberal activists who see their jobs as extensions of the Democratic Party and their interest group supporters?
