ETA suspects arrested at "bomb factory"
Police arrested four suspected Basque separatist guerrillas in southern France in what they have described as a "bomb factory" where a car bomb was apparently being prepared.
At least two of those detained - three men and a woman - are said to be leading ETA militants.
Special forces raided the house near the French town of Cahors after a joint intelligence operation between Paris and Madrid. Police say all four people arrested were armed but surrendered immediately.
The Spanish Interior Minister Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba said one of the group was one of ETA's principle explosives experts and bomb makers.
He said Luis Ignacio Iruretagoiena Lanz was wanted in connection with a blast at Madrid's Barajas Airport in December last year and another near Castellon in Spain last week in which a van containing 100 kilos of explosives was blown up.
The bomb that exploded in a carpark at Madrid Airport in December killed two people, and caused the Spanish government to break off peace talks with ETA. The separatists were supposed to be observing a ceasefire at the time.
They officially ended it in June. Last week two Civil Guards were injured when ETA detonated a massive bomb outside a police barracks in Durango in Spain's Basque country.
Do you sense a buildup for 9/11?
I think a number of people are sensing something in the next few weeks.

Terrorist Roundup ping
I really wonder what motivates these silly bastards. The live in a prosperus country full of opportunity, yet they continue to have little better to do than violently persue some utterly unrealistic goal.
What, you think the Basque separatists are going to try to hijack (pun intended) 9/11 from the Qutbists?
These Christian terrorists can’t even get credit for their work anymore.
Ignorant Spainiards will probably just surrender to Al Quida again.
