Caught just the tail end of a segment on MSNBC where Steve Emerson was commenting about the indictments. Something about explosives being mounted on remote control cars. Also, one of the aressted men aparently had some sort of prior terrorist connection.
“I want to know if they were heading north or south and what their destination was.”
Dey beheading north!
Has anyone determine what/where their target was?
Ha. Go here to see a video of an insurgent blowing himself up. Its kind of final:

The mother lode were the laptop and the pc’s back at their Florida residence. Their siblings have been on local tv saying “they are innocent”. Well, not exactly...
“fireworks” bump
I'm wondering if there's enough to help bring down CAIR. Haven't heard too much mouthin off from Mr. Hooper lately.
Now it’s they were driving a VAN. Disseminating how to make remote car bombs on the internet.
Yeah ,Mohammad Atta was stopped a couple times also
Goose Creek ping!
No kidding! That headline was a terrific effort at hiding what the story is actually about!
20 years?
Is that all they are facing?
I thought that the punishment for sabotage in time of war was death.
Anyone know how the loss of these two Heisman hopefuls is going to impact USF’s run for the BCS title game??
FReepers were right when they tagged these two as terrorists right away. Hopefully these arrests will lesd to more. That university in S. Florida is full of them.
I think they were already being heavily watched, and the authorities found a convenient reason to get ‘em .... in a very sensitive and off-the-beaten path area of SC for the typical “tourists.”
Thank God for the Patriot Act and the terrorist surveillance program.
What they found on their computers at home was apparently the treasure chest of connections and internet bomb making tutoring.
You are right, but my comment was about the headline-writers at the so-called newspapers, burying the basics of the story by insinuating it was just a couple of kids on a lark.
>>Mohamed was charged with distributing information relating to explosives, destructive devices, and weapons of mass destruction, which is a terrorism statute, a Justice Department official said. The crime faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.<<
these particular guys may be bad but I hope that law isn’t as general as it sounds. We’ve talked on freep on about how fuel oil bombs work for example or how IEDs are made and what kinds of protection is needed for our troops.
