Where did you get that information? He never reached for his gun.

It was a satire. I was trying to combine a phony suicide with the Single Bullet Theory.

It amazes me too. If not Republican or Conservative operatives, then why not people within the FBI, law enforcement, etc. who can tell the stories to friendly media.

Having read up on all this I think it is far fetched to think Clinton had anything to do with this...

There are some shady things in Bill’s life that are much more credible

This is only one reason I firmly believe the crooks are in charge. I don’t know how we can overcome such widespread corruption.

Lois Parks was also married to this man when he died

as yet the murder is not solved

Doctor found in home stabbed, police confirm

BY JULIE STEWART SPECIAL TO THE DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE

Posted on Thursday, June 22, 2006

MOUNTAIN HOME — A Mountain Home doctor found dead in his home Sunday night was stabbed to death, authorities said Wednesday.

Dr. David Millstein, 62, died of multiple stab wounds, Police Chief Carry Manuel said, referring to an autopsy performed Tuesday at the state Crime Laboratory in Little Rock.

The chief declined to say when Millstein died, what kind of weapon was used, or whether police had any suspects. Officers executed a search warrant Tuesday night, but Manuel declined to provide more details, including where the search took place.

“A very active investigation continues within our community and outside Baxter County,” he said. “Agents from the Arkansas State Police assigned to areas outside Baxter County are conducting interviews statewide.”

Police found Millstein’s body about 9: 45 p. m. at his home at 1701 Stephen Court.

Officers went to the residence near Twin Lakes Golf Course at the request of Millstein’s co-workers at Baxter Regional Medical Center after they tried unsuccessfully to reach him.

Manuel said investigators had gathered “a massive amount” of information, including written documents and electronic information.

“We are establishing a solid timeline of Dr. Millstein’s activities up to and around the time of death.”

Police were awaiting the results of toxicological tests on the victim.

Millstein was an urologist who moved to Mountain Home seven years ago from Searcy.

He was in private practice at Twin Lakes Urology Clinic and was on the medical staff at Baxter Regional.

He was married to Lois Parks, who lives in the Little Rock area, Manuel said. The marriage was Millstein’s second; he was divorced from his first wife, Manuel said.

Lois Parks is the widow of Luther Gerald “Jerry” Parks Jr., whose Sept. 26, 1993, shooting death west of Little Rock remains unsolved. Jerry Parks, 47, was driving home after dinner to Roland in rural Pulaski County when he was shot by someone who pulled alongside him at Chenal Parkway and Arkansas 10, police said.

Jerry Parks was shot twice in the chest and once in the abdomen, police said.

Detectives reported finding more than 10 shell casings at the scene.

Jerry Parks was an owner of American Contract Services, one of whose subsidiaries, American Janitorial Services, provided janitors for Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign headquarters and transition team offices in Little Rock.

Manuel described the investigation of Millstein’s death as extensive.

“We’re not leaving any stone unturned,” he said.

“The scope is broad, and we just continue to go in the direction that the information and the evidence leads us.”

The city’s first homicide in five years has been a major topic of conversation and rumors in and around the Baxter County town of 11, 012. Manuel said he understood that residents wanted details but that authorities didn’t want to jeopardize the investigation by releasing information that could prove crucial to the case.

“It’s more important that we maintain the integrity and confidentiality of the investigation,” the chief said.

Millstein’s neighbor, Dorothy Grossman, said she last saw the doctor jogging in the neighborhood on Saturday afternoon. Information provided by Millstein’s neighbors has been “helpful — in some cases, very helpful,” Manuel said. Information for this article was contributed by Jim Brooks of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Her name is Lois Jane Parks. She did marry an attorney shortly after Jerry’s murder. The marriage was annulled. She then married the doctor.

I'm very familiar with the Parks story from the Evans-Pritchard book. Evans-Pritchard interviewed Parks' widow and son.

Linda Tripp has testified about the eerie atmosphere at the Clinton White House (where she was still working at the time) when the news of Parks' death was received there.

One small problem: The Parks hit occurred in September of 1993, and today is August 31. So to post it today under "On this day in Clinton History" is not historically accurate. However, the details that Evans-Pritchard provides in his book are correct.
