The left can be unintentionally hilarious when they venture into things martial or explosive.
I remember a Stephen King novel (`Cell’ I think) where his characters, giddy as school girls, describe an AK as being capable of a hundred or more rounds—per second. Another one references a .40 caliber Colt SA revolver. Another, B-52s bombing Germany. And so on.

Stephen King really is a very good writer. Even though he is a big liberal I do enjoy his books (mostly). However he was an English teacher at one time and should avoid showing ignorance in other things to the world.

I have a movie script where in a shoot out in an emergency room of a hospital, the hero jumps behind a water cooler and tapes together his automatic pistol, and his dead partners revolver to increase his firepower.

Not bad, only one order of magnitude off. Close enough for some purposes, but not in this case.
