You all can watch clips from the video in question (”That’s a Family”) and decide for yourselves how far it goes right here:

I myself haven’t watched the clips yet. It’ll have to wait ‘til later when my kids aren’t in the room.
Pornographic? No - Necessary to be shown in school? No. Would I have allowed my 10 year old to watch it? Probably not, but then they were both very advanced readers and had probably already encountered most of these issues in books they would have read (except for the gay/lesbian one, doubt they would have encountered that one)
"You don't have to be a rat to marry a rat. You can be a mouse and marry a rat."
Well now we know they aren't studying genetics in science/biology classes.
Do I have to watch any of this s***t to qualify that I don’t agree??
Monkeys boink monkeys, birds boink birds, people of the opposite sex make babies....

I’ve been up for days, please let your flames //////...
I live in the district and watched the entire video. It’s not appropriate for 3rd graders. The worse part about all of this is that the district hired a consultant/coach, Elizabeth Schroeder, to teach the elementary teachers how to discuss homosexuality with their students. Her website is extremely interesting and disturbing considering what she’s been hired to do in our district.
I’m a part of the opposition and we’ve been fighting this video since January.
