Somehow, I suspect this means that more people were opposed to the film being shown than were in favor. Had more than 50% been in favor, they would have said "a majority of district parents were in favor of showing the film..."
Which is a separate issue from sexual deviancy.

Homosexual partners can not make children on their own. The only way they can “have a family” is to claim other people’s children.

The issue is that turning kids over to deviants is the worst form of child abuse. Homosexuals can’t have kids so they want other peoples’ kids. This was a common practice in ancient Rome where boys were used, traded, and sold among the “gay” population. The boys were called catamites.
It's New Jersey. I believe the 50% statistic. We homeschool here in NJ, and even half the homeschool families lean to the Far Left, including some of the "Christian" homeschoolers.
