This really is genius, in my mind. Employers submit the reports of wages paid to the IRS. It is a mistaken notion that this has to do with Social Security. It gets the info second. Submitting false reports is fraud. The 90 day window means that they will compare the next quarterly report from the employer. He only has 2 choices. Fire the worker or submit a false report. It is the Al Capone scenario. Use tax law to come down on employers. Unlike DHS, the IRS is not understaffed. Nor is it dominated by a bunch of immigration lawyers.
THe US Chamber of Communists...er Commerce...is one of the most anti-American groups out there. This Union of business should be shut down for treason. Ditto for the ACLU
I am tired of groups who value the rights of illegal aliens over the rights of American citizens and legal immigrants.

It’s already been reported that this change is toothless. The Social Security Admin is prohibited from sharing its records with Homeland Security, so the letters will result in no further action if ignored. If employers don’t know that yet, they’ll soon figure it out, and we’ll be back to the status quo ante.
I think there may be major disruptions. But that only underscores how serious the situation is.
If we cut off the crystal meth supply and it causes major disruptions that means we have too many meth addicts, not that we should avoid dealing with it.
The illegals get multiple identities with forged/fraudulent documents using several SS numbers so that they can collect multiple US, state, and local govt freebies.
They can file several tax returns to collect $3500 EITC checks. Collect multiple welfare, UI and Workmens Comp under different names and SS#.
The NY Times reported Mexicans who once worked here with valid SS numbers, then returned to Mexico, actually rent their SS numbers so other illegals here can file with the IRS and pocket $3500 Earned Income Tax refunds. >
A widely-used SS# scheme: the illegals name their anchor baby the same name as the parent. They obtain a valid SS# for the anchor baby; the parent uses it, no one checks beyond name-matching, if that. CNN's Lou Dobbs reported illegals are stealing small childrens' SS# because a child doesn't use a number very often so it is near impossible to detect a stolen number.
Dobbs also mentioned that business owners give illegals SS# of a previous employee (it is not a felony to give away SS#s but it is a felony to use them).
The US provides Mexico with the nuclear umberalla that is paid for by US taxpayers. Mexico has no welfare safety nets, health insurance, and no Social Security system.
Illegals here get paid under the table, don't pay taxes and send some $50 billion US dollars back to their decrepit, moth-eaten country. They are a huge drain on US resources.
The money is gained from illegal employment....and for all we know....from SS fraud, drug deals, tax evasion, ID theft, and other criminal activities. Western Union may be laundering and converting criminal proceeds to pesos.
Now who in these foreign countries is getting a cut of the $50 billion?
It would be easy for the US government to trace monies from the point of departure at Western Union to determine whether WU is aiding in the hiding and conversion and transmission of the invaders illegal cash to legitimate funds (a crime)............and who, on the other end, is receiving the monies.
All international WU money transfers need to be filtered and siezed as necessary to discern the money trail from the invaders on US soil, to Mexico, and Central and So/American governments.
