BEIJING: Diplomatic tension this week over reported Chinese computer attacks on German government networks comes as security experts warn that China is expanding its capacity to wage cyberwar as part of its rapid military buildup.
U.S. and other foreign military analysts say that Chinese defense planners have identified the heavy dependence on computers of most modern military forces as a potential weakness that could be exploited in a conflict.

The Chinese have spent years preparing their military for war. The US has troops that have experienced years in combat. Go for it China!

China also considers using modern farm equipment as a societal weakness. And they consider the use of modern steel frame high rise construction as a sign of societal weakness.
Japan pushes forward on robots/electronics to replace weaknesses in manpower shortages, China has excess manpower and can exploit electronic weaknesses.
Doesn’t seem like a very revealing bit of information.

Anyone reviewing server logs for a website having a login knows the non-stop stream of Chinese and Russians trying to get in.
I suspect one objective to this is to get as many admins as possible to block all Chinese IP address ranges in order to effectively reduce the number of "outside" websites for Chinese citizenry to potentially access.

I wonder if the Chinese are playing around with E-bomb technology. Such technology would have huge consequences with military using advanced technology.

I am surprised that the article didn't mention that much of the world's computer equipment is also now made in Red China. That's a significant advantage for the PRC.
