I don’t care if Larry Craig is a perv or not. I do care that he was dumb enough to either

Get caught

OR

Be innocent and plead guilty to a lesser related charge.

Either way, he’s toast. I’m not glad to see a conservative Senator go (his shamnesty stance takes some of the sting out of it) I find the timing suspicious and I think the cop involved might be embellishing his story, but I don’t think the damage is survivable, and he’s got to go.
