Congress: So does it do "the world's greatest deliberative body" honor to seat a convicted washroom pervert? The Senate's latest scandal around Larry Craig is no fluke. It's a consequence of deficient leadership.
men's room at the Minneapolis airport is one of too many vice scandals out of Washington. Scandals involving money are there too, but these seem more visible and damaging.
The issue here isn't whether Craig is or isn't gay. It's whether someone who breaks the law can control his impulses so he stays within the law. And in this respect, Craig failed miserably.
Whatever his justification now, he pleaded guilty to lewd behavior. He not only made nuisance solicitations in a public place to unwitting men, but he also abused his position after he was caught, shoving his business card into the face of a vice cop to intimidate him into dropping the charges.
Why Craig thought he could get away with this is rooted in two kinds of "tolerance" notable on each side of the political aisle.

Craig is the poster child of what is wrong with congress. The people no longer trust those we elect to represent us. How else could one explain a disapproval rating of 82%? The filth is on both sides of the aisle....

Great question. On Bent Hume “Special Report” tonight, he said the restroom where Craig went is way out of the extremely out of the way the gates Craig would be going to on his flights.

I don’t doubt this for a minute. Pervs know where other pervs hang out. I don’t know how but there must be some kind of underground message system. And as Larry the Fairy stated himself in the police transcript, he is through that airport several times a month.

He also admitted on the tape that he went to that restroom whenever he passed through on his flight. (That is the resroom way out of the way).
