Ed (caller) and Dr. Savage were talking about Murtha. Murtha was a marine, joined in early 50’s but never served overseas in either Korea or Vietnam.

This will probably go longer than the Cold War ...
But it shouldn't, and that's the problem. If it becomes a protracted conflict spanning decades it will not be due to any lack of military prowess but because of a lack of political spine.
