Planet Formation Mystery Solved

Planet formation is a story with a well-known beginning and end, but how its middle plays out has been an enigma to scientists-until now.

A new computer-modeled theory shows how rocky boulders around infant stars team up to form planets without falling into stars.

"This has been a stumbling block for 30 years," said Mordecai-Marc Mac Low, an astrophysicist at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, of planet formation theories. "The reason is that boulders tend to fall into the star in a celestial blink of an eye. Some mechanism had to be found to prevent them from being dragged into a star."

The solution: Together, many boulders can join to fight a cosmic headwind that otherwise would doom them

How do a bunch of rocks coming together create a massive, smoldering core?

I’ve known this for 31 years but kept it to myself, didn’t want to tell anyone and look foolish

Ah, so you’ve never been to a Ron Paul “meet-up”...

Great...now that that’s settled, there won’t need to be any more grant money used on that worthless project. At least other religions finance themselves. Evolutionists, the science/welfare class, are supported by tax money from believers in God, the Creator and Sustainer of life.

LOL.

So “evolutionist” is now a term applied to astrophysicists? I was under the impression that evolution was concerned with stuff like speciation, common descent, you know, evolution stuff.

But I think I have a pretty good idea why you lump the work of these astrophysicists with “evolutionists”. A planet coming into existence by purely natural forces would be a bit problematic.

I don’t know why we bother even thinking about gravity at all- It wasn’t mentioned in the Bible it must not really exist.

The “all science is garbage” attitude is a result of the global warming panic that I feared.

They didn’t know gravity is just space-time continuum
curvature....er, or maybe a “natural” attractive force
between massive...er..well a string vibrational human eyesight
sensitive 11th dimensional state of energy...er....
they might not have called it “gravity” but they knew
it (whatever it was) existed...

Evolution applies to everything that changes. A few things don’t change enough to need the concept every day, physics and mathematics mostly. But physics and math in themselves are evolving slowly.

HERRASSY!! Gaining knowledge though observation and then making predictions based on that is absolute herrasy. We must stop this free thinking and return to the basics I tell you.

Even if gravity was mentioned in the bible there is nothing further we need know about it- Other than it exists- and it is invisible, and the strength of the gravitational field is numerically equal to the acceleration of objects under its influence, and Ep = Wh, and n general relativity, gravitational radiation is created in situations where the curvature of spacetime is oscillating, such as is the case with co-orbiting objects- BUT THATS IT!!! Any more would be satins blood upon you all etc.etc.etc...

It’s not heresy, it’s solid French philosophy, which has nothing to do with imaginative French physics.

You mean Planets are not formed in the blink of an eye by God?
