ATLANTA -- Richard Jewell, the man once accused of being the Olympic Park bomber and then cleared of the attack, is dead.

He did sue NBC for half a million, and won. He had a case against the NYT too but that was never settled.
Atlanta television just broke into regular programming to announce Jewel’s death. Cause of death is still uncertain. He was a police officer in the Meriweather County force.
Just heard on the news that he died of complications from diabetes.
The media railroaded him, just like the Duke Lax Case. And he sued them and won..RIP

As I understand it, Lonnie is still hiding aboard Quantico. He doesn’t even send his kids to school, preferring to homeschool them. You would think that he is guilty of something and the Feds are protecting him.
