Fort Lauderdale - Mayor Jim Naugle's series of controversial comments about homosexuality cost him his seat Tuesday on the board that promotes Broward County to tourists.
County commissioners accused him of jeopardizing the area's multibillion-dollar tourism industry. They said Naugle forced them to take the unprecedented step of stripping him of the job when he ignored warnings to stop his attacks.

Last I heard, having sex in public was against the law. Will this be a new twist of a new sanctuary city? Lovely, just where I want to spend my family vacation dollars, not.
Time to boycott Broward county tourist spots. Or otherwise free speech has been sent to the back of the bus.

Oh yes, please, please, please boycott South Florida as your tourist destination! Tell all your friends and family to do the same, where ever you’re from, but most especially if you’re from the Northeast. If you can get some of those that have relocated here to leave with you that would be even better!

Huge contrast between what is going on there and the conversation last night about Larry Craig. In Ft Lauderdale, apparently, gays have a right to do whatever they want, but in Minneapolis, tap your foot three times and you are arrested.

Why is wanting sodomites to not have sodomy in public bathrooms construed as anti-gay? Is the guy all for normal people having sex in public bathrooms? Probably not. Naugle sounds like he’s pro-decency and anti-public bathroom sex.

Lets see. I’m going to Pompano Beach in a few days for a weeks vacation. Pompano is just North of Ft. Lauderdale. I’ll be dutifully avoiding Ft. Lauderdale.
How has it happened that a statistically small group of sexual deviants has managed to marginalize normal people who speak out against perversion? The inmates are truly taking over the asylum.
actually, homosexuals would kill the family business that fort lauderdale fought so hard to build up by ending spring break.
They ended spring break years ago in order to build up the family oriented business.
Now the homosexuals, by advertising public sex hook ups in the public bathrooms and beaches, are killing it off.
The fact the tourism board is taxpayer funded and supporting this is INSANE.
