The doctrine of "legal equality" abolishes Western civilization, which is based upon making relevant distinctions among unlike things.
Feminism has never been about acceptance of reality. By using power to suppress organic relationships among people, it is profoundly and irrevocably destructive of all, not just Western, civilization.
And it always has been.
I was not starting a debate, but clearly you wish to preach.
I think we see this woman and both see that her posture seems nutty. I think her problem, the woman in the original post, is vanity, childishness, selfishness and and extreme self centeredness and incapacy to truly love someone other than herself.
I think she needs to grow up. Your answer is something different.
The woman is perfectly suited to her environment.

It’s not so much that I want to preach but more that I see the world in spiritual terms. If the woman in question put her life in spiritual order, she wouldn’t be vane and selfish as you note. Or, she would at least recognize those sinful aspects of her life and would be working with Christ to overcome them.

Actually, we agree. Some people have the self discipline and maturity to do what is right and/or work to fix those things that aren’t right without Christ. Many others do not. In my opinion, that’s where a Christian world view would have helped her.
He should drop this *itch for a younger more attractive woman who appreciates all the work he does around the house.
Oh, and one who makes more money.

Interesting outlook. I was brought up to think of the equal protection amendment as an advancement and affirmation of the best of Western Civilization and I have not seen any reason to change.
