Anyone else long overdue ready, for any of our struggling retailers, to take Sam Walton's original concept for a new run?
(Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart ... as hard as it may be to believe if you go in a Walmart now, actually started the chain as a place to buy American-made goods)

PS: regarding "manufactured in America": anything pieced together with a couple screwdrivers and a crescent wrench from imported parts shipped from Toyko or Bavaria ... is NOT manufactured here.

Most of my stereo equipment was made in the USA.
It is not the inexpensive stuff, however.

Sure did, a BMW X5, it is more American than most of the ‘domestic’ car co’s.
I hear Nissan Altima is more American than a Chrysler 300..
The one thing that is constant is that things change.

I bought a quarter pounder from McDonalds. Does that count?
It was crappy by the way and I regret doing it.

Bought a Baby Jogger stroller, new Pointer jeans, a Klein screwdriver, and new pillows all made in the US. I try mightily to always buy made in USA.

Sam Walton was a fine man, and is turning over in grave at what has become of his dream.
