We already know that they illegally keep copies of NICS records despite having been told time after time by judges not to do it and to destroy all records. And we know that BATF agents will illegally go to FFL holders and make copies of all their Form 4473’s for no lelgitimate reason at all.

Do you REALLY believe the government isn’t using other illegal means to collect info on gun owners such as CC mining and internet data mining? Right now, JimRob can look up the URL you are posting from and tell exactly where you are. After that, is it really that difficult to know who lives at you address?

I realize that. But that is a slightly more difficult procedure to find firearm posters and track their URL. Also, untill recently, I only used “borrowed” wireless connections. I’m not squeeky clean, but I was once.

If I did it, there are many others that still are.

Btw, last time I had someone check for me, looking up my URL netted a city that was 80 miles away from me. This was 10 years ago and I’m sure things are different now. But my point is they don’t have it locked down just yet.
