The government has been busily and illegally compiling lists of gun owners for years, especially since the NICS was instituted. Also, they illegally compile receipts from CC companies using computers to search for ammo, gun parts, and other shooting accessory purchases. Believe me, they know how many and what caliber guns you have and how much you shoot.
If you pay cash for used firearms from private owners, tell me how the government knows about this?
