Shooty - no-shooty. I GET IT!

What I don't get is where the holes in the targets come from. My friends all pull their targets back with holes in them but it never happens to me...

You are probably using very high-velocity ammo. Science has proven that beyond 4,000 FPS, bullets pass between the paper fibers without disturbing them.
