I was a little surprised that Paul Anka contributed mostly Democratic. He always seemed like a conservative kind of guy.

When you mentioned Paul Anka...that brought Wayne Newton to my mind...I think he’s a Republican...of course, he’s not Hollywood, he’s Vegas.

I think the big problem is that the California cities of greater LA and SF are sooooo far Left some think they are conservative because they stand up to the most nutty extremism. Then there are the hardcore Leftists like Striesand who put in some real serious money. Charlie Daniels does not have Barbra’s dough but he is down on that list with $500 ... all for Demos.

The young Hollywood trendy set supports the Dems about ten to one over the GOP wouldn’t you say?
