Maybe they just like diet drinks, once you’ve had them for a number of years you actually develop a preference for them.

Okay, diet drinks and what else? Seriously. 350 pounds of that is not likely to be water weight. There's either a thyroid issue, a hidden Ho-Ho issue, or both.
