yes. it is the same diff with drinking lowfat or non fat milk the whole milk tastes like you are drinking heavy whipping cream.
you just become adjusted to it.

Maybe they just like diet drinks, once you’ve had them for a number of years you actually develop a preference for them. I am a woman of normal weight and I've drank diet sodas for so long that regular sodas are too sweet for me.
