I can think of only one candidate's wife who isn't expected to be around very long. If true, not much of a reward for fighting HIS fights with Coulter.
I think the Post is firing a warning shot across the bow.

If it is Edwards, this is a particularly nasty blind item. I find Mrs. Edwards off puting but no one deserves this.

Can’t be, since it said “girlfriend” not “boyfriend” in the story. Must be Bill/

I used to see Harold Ford Jr hustling young blondes in the St. Regis Hotel but he’s not married and not running for office either.

Who is the NYPost protecting?
If it was a Republican, the story wouldn't be a tease, it would be a scandal.
To: Joe Boucher
Supposedly Bill’s not the candidate Hilary is. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had a girlfriend in New York but they did refer to the candidate as a he.

As I said in my previous post they did refer to the candidate as a he. I would have thought that ruled out Edwards, too. I think you are right though because he holds no current office. If he had been a governor, senator or congressman as well as a presidential candidate they probably would have asked the question that way.

I woud think ‘Out of the picture’ means a pending divorce or illness. I can’t think of a famous pol right now in the middle of a seperation
