McClintock was and is limited. Couldn’t win Lt. Gov. after all that suppossed GREAT self publicity staying too long in the Governor’s race.
Arnold was just what I always said he was, that he was socially more liberal, but far more conservative than Bustamante the failed butcher.
The two nice things about Arnold was he did focus on bringing business back to California and he also kept his word regarding trying to blow up government boxes instead of getting along.
The CA voters let Arnold down and the Unions won.
McClintock got all his publicity, but has proved to have very limited electability.
Don’t think I have been inaccurate anywhere and like most here I want the most electable conservative to be in place to challenge Democrats.
There is nothing gained by having an unelectable conservative icon in a major race for power.
I see a lot of self righteous egos on threads among third party types. I crave to read more common sense though in politics by them.
Just my opinion by the way... :-)
Good morning to you!

Your rewriting of history, bashing of conservatives, and apologizing/supporting liberals is transparent, IMO
(no matter how you try to disguise it)
