Having seen in person far left gatherings + the Paulites, they are not introducing conservatism to the left wing.
The Paulites are preaching anti war, the planes that went into the WTC 9/11 were remote control, anti Israel, etc.
Have seen them at their booths, in gatherings, and they blend in with the far left as they preach this propaganda.
Also a car down the stree has a Paul bumper sticker and a 9/11 was staged sticker.
He is being pushed by the dems so as to sabotage the GOP. It could work just like Ross worked.
I don't believe the truthers supporting Paul do so because of this particular belief; rather, their questioning of 9/11 and their support for Paul share a common root cause: a distrust of today's massive, monolithic federal government, which has proven time and time again that the only things at which it's competent are cronyism and dishonesty. This distrust of government--a healthy degree of which, I should add, used to be a core tenet of conservative philosophy--combined with the truthers' pet prejudices, is what leads to the incoherent theories the people at DU have so come to know and love today.
Is it fair to hold these people against Ron Paul? During past elections, FReepers have been quick to distance Bush from the extremists supporting him. I'd like to think we can all adhere to the same standard with Paul, establishment candidate or otherwise.
