The Huffington Post published a plea to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs today to arrest George Bush for "conduct unbecoming" -- essentially, a military coup against the elected government of the United States. Martin Lewis claims that the military can arrest a President while not conducting a coup d'etat by focusing only on his role as Commander in Chief of the military:

An extremely valid question? These days the bar for treason, high crimes and misdemeanors, etc is constantly moving.
The author of the call to arrest the President, Martin Lewis, specifically denies in his post that he is advocating a coup or “any illegal act.” But that is exactly what he is doing.
Most likely in today’s intellectual climate, that brazen denial of the obvious protects him.
