Florida Democrats Stripped of Convention Delegates Due to Early Primary

Saturday , August 25, 2007

AP

WASHINGTON — Democrats decided Saturday to strip Florida of all its presidential convention delegates unless the state holds its primary later in the 2008 election calendar. The punishment would leave the fourth largest state without a vote for the nominee.

The state party has 30 days to comply by moving its contest back at least seven days from the current Jan. 29 plan or lose its 210 delegates to the nominating convention in Denver next summer.

The state party chairwoman, Karen Thurman, said she would confer with officials about the ultimatum. Elected officials in Florida have said they would consider legal action and a protest at the convention if the national party barred the state's delegates.

DNC Memo to Florida Voters:

You Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Votes!!!!!

NOTHING must be allowed to interfere with the plan for Hillary’s coronation. Too many rich Democrats are depending on the Campaign skim to pay for Private Jet fuel and mansions!

They moved Democrat Machine-Controlled states Nevada and Michigan early for a REASON, and spent millions to do it. This throws a monkeywrench into that plan.

Jeez, at this rate, I’m going to run out of popcorn before the voting even starts. This is getting fun already!

It sounds like the numbers are not that good for Hillary in Florida, in which case, would not look good if she did not win, for the next primary. It is like the telling the numbers when polls close, and people who have not voted, figure what is the point.

The Florida delegates must all be leftists that support the Michael Moore/Howard Deaniac lobby within the Dem party.

The Dems are now scambling from their leftist positions on the Iraq War, and trying to position themselves more in line with Joseph Leiberman.

Too late methinks, but it sure is fun to watch the self serving bustards try and hoodwink the American public.

NOT!
