A German friend of mine went back home a few years ago and brought back a bunch of pictures of an American Indian club gathering. Tee-pees and outfits etc. all Indian costumes and regalia. He also had the local news paper clippings with pictures of the annual event. Seems that foreigners like our old west lore.

My French ex-brother-in-law and his family came out here for a visit last year. First trip to the US. Got hooked on country music while traveling around the SouthWest and now listens to it constantly back in Paris.
Maybe we should export country music instead of McDonalds!

Perhaps the following vintage country western tunes by Louisiana groups will be heard:
- "Tu Peus Pas Me Fair Ce" by The Alley Boys of Abbeville (1938)
- "Va Veuvre de la Coulee" by Happy Fats & The Rayne-Bo Ramblers (1940)
- "Jolie Blon" by Harry Choates & His Melody Boys" (1946)

We would welcome French visitors out here in the “real” west.
