The ban says people can't even have the guns in their own home. The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
If Illinois has a problem with our Constitution, they ought to secede and become part of another country. What am I missing here?

To clarify, it's an AWB. It was constitutional when done by Congress under the second amendment. Under the Illinois constitution it's a no-brainer.

The foreign aid that they will try to suck up. Just what we need, Cuba and Illinois.

It’s not the whole state but Chicago and Cook County.The population is so large in Chicago and Cook County that they can use their leverage to try to run the whole state, which is mostly rural. I know people from Southern Illinois and they are very gun loving and conservative in their parts. Chicago is a cancer on the great state of Illinois. Take away Chicago and you would have a nice conservative red state.
