So who put her in the car and walked off?
I suspect that one put the baby in the other’s car to be helpful. And the one whose car the baby was in thought the other parent had it.
Is the mother also in the medical profession?
Not my family, not my child, but I do not understand ANY mother wanting to put a seven-month old baby in child care. I believe it falls under the “without natural affection” category in Romans chapter 1. That’s what I preach in our church, too.
“So who put her in the car and walked off?”
Having worked in academia a good part of my life....
my bet is on the one with the most/highest degrees.
And being in Mid-Missouri and suffering the 105 deg F temps last week
and the usual +100 deg F discomfort indices for the past week or two...
if I was on a jury, I’d vote guilty if it meant the negligent parent
got locked into an enclosed box, heated with ambient heat and solar
radiation once a week during July and August for the next 5 years.
(and kept from going into total shock/dying by monitoring telemetry
on their core temperature)
For a couple to be in flyover country during summer and not pay attention
to where their child is in regards to the car...
CRIMINAL!!!
Excellent question.
