In every moment of crisis in almost a decade, when in need of prayer that is powerful this is where I come.
I am asking for constant prayer for my mother-in-law Doris, who has been a devout Baptist all her life. She is so scared right now & I pray she asks God to lift up her fears, for He will.
She was diagnosed yesterday with ovarian cancer and she feels it is a death sentence. I feel prayers here have seen many miracles.
Doris is a young woman, she is 67 yrs old, who also is a right to life activist and has devoted her life to her church. She moved to Alabama although her children and grandchildren are here in Illinois. She did this as the only surviving child of her mother Edith, who is elderly and needed care. Doris took her out of a nursing home and has cared for her so she could remain in her lifelong home.
Please warriors, I told her Freeper's prayers go straight to God's ears.
Bless you all!
Your mother-in-law is in my prayers, sweetie.
Prayer Request
Prayers up! Freeper prayers helped me with my potentially life ending illness, they’ll help your M-I-L, also.
God bless you, too.
God be with her.
Sweetie, my heart swelled when I saw your pray was first, thank you!
May God bless her and reassure her.
A co-worker also was diagnosed and treated about 20 years ago. She is still doing well. There is hope.
In the seventies, I worked with a woman who had been diagnosed and treated at age 21. She was in her 60's then. There is hope.
We must pray to keep your mother-in-laws spirits up and give her the strength to fight her way through it. She can survive.
Thank you so much Bob...I do know if anything will help it IS Freeper prayer
Prayers lifted for Doris .. may her fears be calmed and her faith increased for this journey. Her care is in His hands .. He who loves her and us so very much.
My mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age or 65, and had a recurrence 2 years later. She went through chemo both times, but is cancer-free and will be 80 this year. My mother is also a Christian and many prayers went up for her. It is not a death sentence. If the chemo had been more agressive we don’t feel like it would have recurred the second time. However, there is no way to know. As a Christian, your mom must know she is in God’s hands. Prayers will go up for her!
I moved to MN in 2001 to help take care of my father. I understand.
Prayers up..
She just developed symptoms in the past few weeks & immediately sought a doctor knowing her own body. She had been in good health all her life.
Usually when symptoms appear it is indictative the cancer is bad and onlt a 50% survival rate for 5 years.
She had extreme bloating, an obstruction to going to the bathroom, and nausea.
Tell her our prayers are with her. I hope the good Lord is sitting at her side and holding her hand.
Please look after Doris who takes care of others selflessly and now needs to be looked after. Prayers for a recovery for this beautiful human being.
This is the solace , we her family have & I know she will hear God also
