I absolutely agree, and this alternative one makes me want to throw up just a little bit. How do we go about getting back to one that resembles, say, 1958?

Wow!!! I think the parallel universe was entered just West of Albuquerque on one of those seven hills of old Route 66. Those hills were hell on the Babbit Rods of the old Chevrolet engines and we’d blow a rod right outside the city and have to stay a day or so there in one of those old motel courts while waiting on the repair. I have those experiences and memories also and I believe if we were to be hypnotized we’d remember being dragged into that universe....
