Murray was great at filling in for Harry Caray when he had his stroke.

Bill Murray is awesome. He can do whatever the hell he wants as long as no one gets hurt.

He should have told the officer they were filming Cadddyshack III.
Good idea. Given how bad Caddyshack II tanked, no one would even notice.

Or mistake them for the staircase:

When the kids were young and my husband picked them up from school, I had to explain to him the real reason the women there waiting would stare at him lol

I think the people who colonized Iceland were mainly Norse (Norwegian) rather than Swedes, but some of them were Norse from the Western Isles of Scotland. I was told once that the Icelanders actually have a lot of Celtic ancestry (being descended from children the Norse men had by Hebridean women) but I don’t know if that is borne out by DNA studies.

Every once in a while, I tune in Caddyshack when it's on cable. I usually give it five to ten minutes, because I've never laughed at anything in that movie.

” refusing a breathalyzer test citing U.S. law ‘
I can see how Murray got that idea, given the extraterritoriality of American laws concerning smoking Cuban cigars or sex tourism. Unfortunately, US outsourcing of morality doesn’t induce obligations for other countries to pay the least bit of attention.

"He refused to blow in the (breathalyzer) instrument, citing American legislation"
Well there we have it, his mistake was obvious: if he had just cited Scottish law he'd have some fervent defenders in the US Congress, and probably all over the EU. By citing American law he's guaranteed that they will throw the book at him. He'd better start making some feverish public denunciations of Bush and Cheney so that they know he prefers Euro-weenie socialism to eviiilll Americans.
