World: South Asia Sectarian violence in India
Police in the west Indian state of Gujarat say they've arrested a number of people after violence between Hindu extremists and Christians. There have been clashes over the weekend following violence on Christmas Day when buildings, including schools, hospitals, and churches were attacked.
The Christian community say the attacks are part of a concerted campaign against them which has worsened since the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata party came to power in Delhi in March.

Nobody knows what really happened there. Just because Germans are beating immigrants doesn’t necessarily mean it is racially motivated. Would this have been a group of muslim immigrants beating up Germans and hurling racial insults, no newspaper would have found this worth reporting. Sickening style of journalism.
