They are to many but not to all of us. Many of us are sick and tired of the blame game and the full frontal offensive to denigrate western (”white”) culture taking place on our own shores and in Europe for that matter.
It’s ridiculous. America is the most open society in the world...bar none. The concept of untouchables and caste like where you left from are unknown here.
Blacks and other mostly urban minorities arguably have more political power even than their numbers merit as a voting bloc due to their clustering and white guilt.
We are allowing illegals to stream into our borders and set up shop and afraid to deport them since most are brown or non-white.
The worlds largest transfer of wealth to ostensibly help minorities get a leg up...mostly failed admittedly but the money sure got taxed and taken from us.
Whites have been marginalized here voluntarily to accommodate as a form of redress and also because trying to do right in time is simply our way.
All that and a newbie like you comes here and wants to lecture us on Indian cultural benevolence and open minded. That is a fantasy. India has a history of quite the opposite...especially over religious strife.

Anyways, Germany is a great country. It is just that there are some areas that tend to be on the 'interesting' side.

In several places in Europe, I would expect the locals are very pissed off about the influx from islamic origins, primarily. At least in this example.
It appears in Germany, it goes to all newcomers, not limited to muslims.
I had a good friend years ago, who first moved from Bombay to Tehran, as he was Zoroastrian. That fact alone made him “Iranian” to those with little knowledge of history.
Anyway he found a happy life in the US, where for the most part we discriminate regarding who we discriminate against. I recall soon after 9/11/2001 some Sihks were beat up, no doubt by idiots who thought they were muslims.
Germans have a history in this regard. But it is just a few, and hopefully the government will track them down and punish them. I lived in Germany in the erly 70s, and at that time, I knew of no incidents of “white supremists” but I imagine there were a few.
On the whole, this is true of almost all countries. Even supposedly "safe" countries like New Zealand and Singapore have their rough sides.
I spent last summer in Dresden, the capitol of Saxony, and saw no evidence of a racist underground. Everyone I talked with seemed normal enough, and without exception, all were ashamed of the Nazi period.
In Dresden I went to language school with Indians, Arabs, Poles, Russians, Japanese, etc. etc. and no one that I knew ever complained of any discrimination or racism of any kind directed at them.
Neo-nazis in Germany have the same (or worse) reputation that they have in the states, i.e. low class hateful losers with too much time on their hands. Every country has a few such people...
