There was a time when thinking was a pre-requisite to a post. I’m not saying that isn’t the case now but a review of FR’s roots might make the place a more enjoyable and fruitful experience for all.
Agreed! I wish some of the old “THINKERS” were still here to see some of the foolish crap that goes on.

I’m sorry those old archives aren’t available any longer. Reading those early discussions made you stop and think. Depth, intelligence, give and take —— they were wonderful.
AND — there were so few topics, but all were absorbing. Not the one-liners we have now.
