Will U.S. voters elect a woman as president?

DES MOINES, Iowa — A pair of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's worst nightmares trudged past a giant blue "Hillary for President" sign outside the Iowa State Fair with palpable disgust.

"Hillary can go to hell," said Alice Aszman, 66, a Democrat from Ottumwa. "I'll never vote for her. I don't think a woman should be president. I think a man should. They've got more authority."

Her husband, Daniel, 50, also a Democrat, agreed: "I think women should stay home instead of being boss."

That's not what Clinton wants to hear from voters like the Aszmans, who described themselves as "working class." But there's also no question that, even as Clinton, the New York Democrat, widens her lead in national polls of Democratic voters, becoming the first woman president won't be easy.

A pair of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's worst nightmares straw men trudged past a giant blue "Hillary for President" sign outside the Iowa State Fair with palpable disgust.

There... fixed it!

I have no problem with a woman as President. I have a tremendous problem with THAT woman as President.

How much you wanna bet that Alice and Daniel Aszman (aged 66 and 50, respectively) are Democrat operatives and Hillary! loyalists.

I have no problem whatsoever with a woman as president. I have an extreme problem, however, with a carpetbagging crook rapist enabler as president.

IMO, her being a woman has very little to do with it. Although gender is important and not to be discounted. Many cultures including our own view men as the leaders. The Presidency is not the place to experiment or make a statement.

We need the best person for this position. Is Hillary the best we have? I sincerely hope we have better.

Hillary is a socialist and all of her policies reflect that base. She’s accomplished very little as a Senator with most of her focus being on building the campaign.

And then there is the fact have had two families in this office for the last 20 years (counting GW’s full term). I think its time for some fresh blood. Either that or we need to push an amendment changing us into an oligarchy.

This whole “vote for a woman for president” thing is just a gimmick by the Hillary people to make people vote for her rather than be considered un-liberal or intolerant. There are voters out there who might not like here, but will be tricked into voting for her because they can’t tell the difference between voting for a woman and voting for her!

Bring me Condolezza Rice as a candidate, and I will vote for a women in a heartbeat. Just not one of those touchy-feely “for the CHILDREN” simpering morons, or a power crazed former-first-lady pschyo-b!+ch.
