One aspect that Malkin does not mention is the personal example she sets. She is among the descendants of LEGAL aliens. The cowardly, political stance is to avoid the issue of illegal aliens, on the grounds that aliens who have become citizens legally will resent that, and vote against said politician.

The truth is the exact opposite, as Malkin's family demonstrates. Those who have become Americans by the long, difficult, legal process, resent the illegals who "jump the line," and who "steal their citizenship, rather than earn it."

So, the political cowards are fools as well. All the more reason to drive them from office with a switch, and leave them sitting on the curb, wondering what ran over them.
