I think the only answer is the answer he's been giving, that his faith informs his values but the doctrinal difference are trivial in importance in the larger American picture. What would you suggest would be a better response by Romney to the religion issue?
I've always been taught in sales to be the first to bring up an objection, along with a good response to the objection. Maybe Romney needs to be the one to bring up his religion more often. It might defuse some of the "gotcha" questions and attitude of the MSM. One thing is for sure, the tough questions are still ahead of him, and if he tries to avoid them, the MSM will smell blood in the water and be all over him like the pack of sharks they are.
