A key suspect in the brutal killings of three college students in Newark was arrested early yesterday in Oxon Hill, where authorities found the 24-year-old Nicaraguan man among a group drinking beer and getting tattooed in a filthy apartment furnished with little more than mattresses on the floor.

The leftists already have an answer. The reason these foreign gangs are so violent is due to (drumroll please) "the easy availability of guns in the United States." That's right, the leftists claim that guns from the U.S. are flooding into Mexico, and this is turning otherwise peaceful people into gangsters. So the problem is not that violent criminals can come into the U.S., the problem is that American citizens are still free to buy guns. So I guess the answer is to ban all guns, import gangsters and terrorists so that they can live in a gun-free utopia (but don't ask them if they have any weapons, that would violate their rights). Maybe the leftists will next require us to never lock our doors because property is theft and if someone wants to steal something, that is justice...
