I am surprised that the half hour news hour got such high ratings whilst I found some of the sketches funny a lot of of it did not appeal to me at all.

Maybe that is the difference between British and American humour.

Because, they refused to attack the President. Also, Conservatives really liked an alternative since everything else the same old same old.

Half hour news hour is still a work in progress snugs, compared to the first pilot shows though, it has made leaps in quality and content.

Yeper. Humor is one of those things that does not always translate well between our countries. I had the same problem when I watch some British humor shows. It just doesn’t click for me. But then I find most of what passes for humor these days meanspirited, childish and nasty.

Seems real wit has been lost from today’s humor
