I’m just curious. Do you believe that erotica and Christianity are mutually exclusive?
Bear in mind that having attempted to read some of Ms Rice’s purported erotica, I believe you and Google might have mischaracterized her work.
As Mother Theresa said when visiting America, “Please don’t feel sorry for me, but rather for yourselves, when you trade life for lifestyle, and do nothing to protect the most innocent of God’s creatures, the unborn child.”
In addition to the Gospels, a Catholic with a "cherry picking" attitude might want read what two GREAT Popes (John Paul II and Benedict) have had to say on the subject of abortion.
I think she is an Episcopalian and doesn’t know it. The Episcopal leaders are soft on the subject of abortion, the Popes (and the Catholic Church) are NOT. There is no equivocating for a Catholic, Ann.
You are an influential person, and you are using your influence to support abortion and Hillary’s hard-over position on it. I pray for you.
This woman is demonstrably insane.
....Or hopelessly stupid if she believes that the party that uses abortion mills as laundromats for campaign dough is the party that can "find a solution to the horror of abortion". My vote is that Rice is hopelessly stupid.
“Those values involve feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, clothing the naked, visiting those in prison, and above all, loving ones neighbors and loving ones enemies.”
I’m surprized she didn’t throw in something about the environment. She hit all the other talking points of the Democrat (socialist) Values == Christian Values memos.
Although I disagree with what Rice has written, I don’t believe she is stupid, drunk, or a moron. She is a great writer and quite intelligent. Instead of calling her names, it would suit some here better to actually address what she’s written.
Triple oxyMORON!
Who reads her stuff?
I think Anne Rice has serious issues. Anyone who had read her “Sleeping Beauty” series can confirm that.
Hillary as president? Sounds like a gothic horror story to me.
I’ve never heard of this poor, misguided, confused, lady. She is apparently out in the twilight zone. The statement about Catholics not being accepted a Americans before John F. Kennedy was elected President was off the chain.
Yes, the sleeping beauty stuff. Rather repetitive and unimaginative stuff.
“She is a great writer and quite intelligent”
This I agree with. Supporting Hillary... naaah.
Au contraire, mon aimi.
(Just a little French lingo there to pacify M. Sarkozy.)
Although I never had the stomach to read the tripe Rice pukes forth, I have relied on knowledgeable reviewers to supply me with the information that has kept me away from her pap.
There are NO Democrats that are intelligent (as well as many calling themselves Republicans); however, one who states she would vote for Hillary Clinton for anything is proof enough of being an absolute twit!
The nurse will see you now, Annie.
“Instead of calling her names, it would suit some here better to actually address what shes written.”
I did not call her a moron. I liked her book about Jesus. She is an excellent writer. Did you even read my entire post?
I want to add here that I am Pro-Life. I believe in the sanctity of the life of the unborn. Deeply respecting those who disagree with me, I feel that if we are to find a solution to the horror of abortion, it will be through the Democratic Party.”
Lady you are a phony liberal PERIOD. You want a “solution to the horror of abortion.”? How about just stopping it. You life is built on fiction and this pile of crap proves it. "Pro life"? please go tell that to a child, or to Hillary, but don't try telling that to grown ups.
Those positions are mutually exclusive.
Sorry, Anne, but Christians can have no compromise with Satan.
“Sorry, Anne, but Christians can have no compromise with Satan.”
I feel that way too, but maybe she is a baby Christian, and hasn’t learned yet. Only God knows for sure.
She may deeply respect those who support killing babies. I don’t.
