Sorry, Blondie, but I don't know the first thing about that type of software. If you ever need some help with PHP and web pages, I'd be delighted.

I have 2 choices for broadband. One will not work (out of range DSL) and the other involves dealing with our local cable thieves, Charter...which I **will** not do.

I think you need to do the same kind of thing with mine that dina had you do with Sherri’s.
Don’t play it. hit the download button and save it. Then, when its completely loaded you should be able to listen to it without any gaps.

I will have to look, but I suppose it is the same problem: your modem is trying to drink from a fire hose.
With a dial-up modem, you can receive, on a good day, about 50K bits per second. A decent talk radio stream is about 24K.
Sometimes, people who are insensitive to the “bandwidth deprived community” will send an FM quality stream which is two streams (stereo) at 32K each (or more).
There ought to be a law. As Hillery would say “bandwidth is a right”.
On the other hand, I would say, “you will have to pry my cable modem out of my cold, dead hands”.
