The Many Faces Of Mitt Romney (Joseph Farah Returns To Mass Pol Flip-Flopper - AGAIN Alert)
Worldnetdaily.com ^ | 08//18/2007 | Joseph Farah

I'm astounded.

I don't know how else to say it.

I just continue to be amazed at the number of Republicans who are so easily conned, duped and hoodwinked by Willard Mitt Romney.

I'm not sure there are any facts I could offer that would dissuade his minions from supporting their messiah. It's an emotional thing. They have found their political savior, and nothing he has ever said or done previously or in the future is likely to convince them they saddled the wrong pony.

Here's the latest bulletin that will fall on deaf ears: The born-again pro-lifer, who swears he had a Damascus Road experience on the issue of abortion, currently owns stock in two companies involved in embryonic stem cell research. ....

But I'll keep sounding the alarm, just like John MacMillan, Republican town committee chairman in Billerica, Mass., who supported Romney when he first ran for office as the state's governor in 2003.

"He's as phony as a three-dollar bill," said MacMillan. "When I started to look at his positions – gun control, pro-gay – I found out that he's just as bad as (Teddy) Kennedy. I've been a Republican all my life, and leopards don't change their spots. He'll change his position, say anything, to get votes."

He's slick. He'll change his positions and say anything, to get votes. Are we talking about Bill Clinton or John F. Kerry? No! - we're talking about Mitt Romney. He's more liberal than he would like to have people believe. The difference between him and Rudy Guiliani is the latter is at least an honest RINO.

They trumpet religion and lie through their teeth and the inconsistency never occurs to them.

I’m astounded that so many people like you spend energy on such negative endeavors because you did not get enough hugs as a child.

That makes two of us.

His religion is not an issue with me. His business background is not an issue with me.

As a MA resident, though, I am completely unimpressed by his performance as governor. As a pro-lifer I am completely unimpressed by his Road to Damascus conversion which an amazing number of FReepers claim with straight faces is perfectly understandable.

As with several other candidates, I like ROmney as a person. I simply see no reason why I should vote for him.

So, you will never vote for a person unless they come from your denomination? That is really broad minded of you. I guess you have never voted for a conservative then, because I can guarantee that none of them ever believed exactly what you believe. And that explains why you just joined Freerepublic, because you are such a great conservative. You really could not even find this site after two major presidential elections and 9-11? Really?

Lets see, his religion does not bother you. His business background does not bother you. And, you like him as a person, but goshdarn if his “performance” as governer in an all liberal state with the highest taxes and one of the most anit-conservative bases anywhere, wasn’t the straw that broke the camel’s back. Welcome to Freerepublic

Are you comfortable with the dishonesty? The guy is supposed to be a pillar of the church, what kind of example is he setting?

Uh, thanks--I've been here a long time.

Yeah, I actually judge him not on his personal life but on his performance in office, where he had to work with democrats in charge--a radical method of judging someone who wants to be president and may have to work with democrats in charge of Congress, I know!

I see a man who changed his mind, who said that he was wrong, and then the local yocals grab their pitchforks and demand that all bow at the alter and declare that he is lying.

I’d love to have a chance at a public debate, and ask some hard questions. You know that ain’t gonna happen. Could be that your standards aren’t as high as mine when it comes to The Constitution.

Joe is disingenuous about the stock. Mitt’s stocks are all in a blind trust, he has no control over where the money is invested.

I call him Mitt the Malleable. He’ll say ANYTHING to get elected. He has no principles to speak of. He is the single worst candidate next to Ron Paul the GOP currently has. If it’s Mitt against Hillery... we are in for 8 years of hell with the “smartest woman” in the world as the leader of our country from which it will take a generation to recover.

Oh crud I had no idea you were a homosexual lover. This place has gone to hell. It used to be nice with real conservatives and not trolls and posers visiting from DU. What is your motto, "Children do not deserve their innocence"

I bet judges who lock up child molesters are actually discriminating.

This a little side note Joseph Farah is viciously anti LDS just so readers include that when you read Joseph Farah on anyone who is LDS he love to post Razormouth rants on the LDS that I have read in the pass and Joseph Farah has also commented!

Also the poster goldstategop has also in the pass debated and posted anti LDS stuff there would not be any prejudice going on here now...
